Bible Studies

We have several active studies:

Disciple Bible Study I - Tuesday evenings from 7-9pm in the New Beginnings Classroom off of the Family Life Center
The Bible in 90 Days - Tuesday evenings from 5:45-7pm in room 109 of the Fellowship Hall

Reunion Groups

 

St John's has an active Emmaus community.
We have numerous reunion groups that meet on and around our campus.

Women:
    Fourther's Emmaus Group

Men:
    Eye of the Storm
    Journeymen

The Georgetown Emmaus Community meets for worship once per month.

 

 

 

United Methodist Women

"UMW Award" - 09/23/2012

 

Purpose:
The organized unit of the United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as a whole person through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of missions through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Background:
United Methodist women is the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders and advocating for justice.

Members raise up to $20 million each year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world.

St. John's home-grown drama troupe invites all to participate and reaches out to the whole community with its ministry.  Productions and activities include musicals, straight plays, special worship experiences, readers' theater, and more.  New members are always welcome as actors, production team members, crew, builders, costume and make-up designers, or just general volunteers.  Contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
