Prayer Ministry

"Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. ... Put on the full armor of God.  ...  Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people."
Excerpts from Ephesians 6:10-18(NIV)

"If my people who belong to me will humbly pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (CEB)

St. John's is a praying church.

This is a ministry which costs the church no money, but brings out personal commitments from caring members. Personal prayer and corporate prayer will increase the power of any church willing to reach deep into the heart and bring down God’s amazing power to their church.

The goal of St. John's Prayer Ministry is for our people, that is our church, to experience God anew. God is always at work around us and longs for us to join in His work. One part of this divine work is prayer. Prayer can change people and circumstances.   Additionally in prayer, we demonstrate God's love for all people, reflecting that amazing love as a result of this holy conversation.
