Church Under the Bridge is a division of Mission Possible, which is an organization that provides the homeless in Austin an opportunity to come to one location on Sunday mornings to worship. There is a band and worship service, and various churches bring food for the homeless on that day. It is located under the overpass of I35 between 7th and 8th Street. Our church goes once a quarter to provide food, toiletries, and clothing to the homeless. For more information, contact Linda Gusnowski.
Next Church Under the Bridge is TBD
St. John's provides a food pantry for those in need in our community. This is funded through donations. Due to Covid-19, our food pantry is currently closed. Please call if you need assistance with food and we can help you get taken care of.

St. John's next trip to Sager Brown will be February 10-15, 2019. Click here for the latest Sager Brown Newsletter

The mission project serves those in need of medical transportation or medicine delivery in the rural areas of the Congo. This project started back in 1960 when there were no new roads to facilitate transportation. It is still the 911 emergency contact for the rural areas. The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) often calls and asks us to distribute medicine and transport medical workers along the river to help victims. If you are interested in this mission work, contact the church office at 512-863-5886.
